Are these levels predictions?
No. They are reference prices taken from past candles and simple formulas. Price can pass through any of them without reacting. Use them as places to pay attention, not as forecasts or advice.
How are the previous day and previous week levels calculated?
They come from closed daily candles on the UTC day. The previous day levels use the last closed daily candle. The previous week high and low are the highest high and lowest low of the last 7 closed daily candles, which includes the previous day.
What is the daily pivot and what are R1 and S1?
The daily pivot is the average of the previous day high, low and close. Pivot R1 is twice the pivot minus the previous day low. Pivot S1 is twice the pivot minus the previous day high. Traders watch them as possible resistance and support.
Which round numbers are shown?
The two round numbers that sit just below and just above the previous daily close, on a price grid that scales with the coin. They are psychological levels where many traders place orders, which is why people watch them.
When do the levels update?
The level set is rebuilt from the latest closed daily candles after each UTC day closes, and refreshed at most every few minutes. The current price is a live spot price, so the distance column changes through the day while the levels stay the same.
Can I get an alert when price reaches one of these levels?
Yes. Create a VMTradeAlert account, choose the coin, enter the level as your target price and publish. When the price comes within your chosen distance, you get a phone call and an email. See the pricing page for alert limits per plan.
